I find no cold air coming out when I turn the air conditioner on first time this summer. I am pretty sure I turn the air conditioner on and set the temp to low. Any similar experience?

 

Automatic air conditioners are pretty complicated. Sounds like a trip to the dealer.

 

I am bringing my car to the shop today to get it checked

 

Dealer checked AC operation, DTC, compressor, did pressure and leak test. They found nothing wrong. They think maybe something happened in the winter. They recharged with 1.2lbs refrigerant, dye and sealed so that they will know where is leaking next time.



Strange…

 

It is a closed system so I would expect a leak.

 

After refill the refrigerant, sometimes I still feel the air condition is weak and stuffy when turn the air condition on. I brought back to the shop to recheck again after the dye is put in last time. They said the temperature is fine and didn't see any trace of dye leaking.

I guess I will wait a couple of weeks to see.

Clean all filters
See if the hood is clean
There are two fans ahead of radiator and both working properly

Tempertaure set to low
