Brake pads

I have a 2013 ls460 Bought it about a month ago ,It has 42000 miles the dealer changed the front pads ,Is this usually when they need replaced, How long have you gone before a Brake job ,Also I think the battery is original, Could it last 6 years, Thanks Danny.

Battery in my 2009 LS460 lasts about 3 years. replaced all brake pads and rotors at ~55k miles. the new akebono should last at least 80k miles for my driving style.

I get about 100,000 miles out of a set of front and rear pads (BMW, Lexus). Batteries are a crapshoot. OEM batteries appear to last longer than replacement ones (despite the fact that they are typically port-installed, here in the US).
