Pinned my Jack!
So had my LS460 on jacks for better of a week, doing the laundry list of maintenance items. When I completed my work and went to take it down off the jack stands, the car went all the way to the ground and pinned my jack. Scared the hell out of me. Luckily, my neighbor was home and had another low profile jack to get under a side and lift it to remove the jack. So at this point, I am racking my brain to think what I did wrong. Then all I could think of is that the car has air suspension and maybe they were the plaintiff. Started the car and waited, slowly but surely, the car came back up to normal height. Whew!
I'm hoping someone can save me from screwing this up next time it has to go on jacks, by telling me what I did wrong or need to do.
Thanks

The owners manual says to turn off the height control before raising the vehicle - page 494 of the online owners manual at https://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/d...f/OM50738U.pdf

That’s the problem. You have to start the car on jacks when doing transmission fluid changes, in order to get to the right temp. The time it takes to jack the vehicle and get it level, once it reaches the right temp is too time consuming
