Lack of any audio, SOVLED!
I traced everything back to the 'head unit', the main radio component in the dashboard.
Received a used one I purchased off eBay from a 2010 with 58K miles on it, today, plugged it in, and I'm back to having audio! I've gotten to where I can get the radio out of this car in under five minutes, and do it cleanly, without breaking anything. All it takes is a 10mm socket with an extension, a socket wrench, some strong fingers, and knowing where to pry.
However, I remember I have a few discs in the old changer, so I need to figure out how to get those out.
While I was in there, I used some two-part epoxy to keep the 60 Minutes idiotic 'park' lockout switch on the shift lever permanently disengaged, so no more stepping on the brake to shift out of "P".
I need to see if this can be gotten around with the push-button start, too. I'm tired of being protected against things which are never going to be a problem. I'm the sole driver of my car, there are never any children in it, I've never accidentally applied the wrong pedal, never accidentally shifted out of park, etc. Though...there are times I want the ignition 'on', but the car not running.

What was killing me was lack of music on my commute. That, and my hours were recently tweaked, 5A-1P, so I didn't need the tomb-like silence trying to put me to sleep.
I had it down to the head unit, but it was tough to swallow $350 for a used one. However, best $350 I've spent on that car!
Maybe it's I haven't heard the Levinson in almost two months, but it seems more robust than the old one.

), Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, Kenny G?No offense intended, just having fun!
Actually, they're MP3 discs, and there is Weird Al on a couple of them. Sam the Sham, too!
Along with Neil Diamond, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Parliament, Chic, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Steely Dan, The Knack, Genesis, Albert King, and a bunch of other stuff which you'd not expect to hear playing at high volume in a vehicle like this. :-D
If nothing else, I can pull the replacement one, put the changer from my dead one on it, plug it back in, eject the discs, then put it back. Or, I could just leave it, actually.
I've found head unit/CD changer combos on car-part.com for $200, which have a dead changer. So I could make $200 back on this, if I wanted to.
Gonna dig around for a loose wire inside, first, however, 'cause that's how it behaved.

Was there an original thread that discussed what your car's symptoms were? I have a 08 LS 460. I'm dealing with a "no audio" issue as well. My nav works fine. But, I can't listen to music, and anything that I used to touch on the touch screen that would "beep", no longer beeps. I've looked at the setting that turns on/off the beep sound, and it is set to on. I'm not too tech savvy so, it's sounding like I'm gonna take a trip to the dealer. I live right by a Toyota dealer, so, contemplating taking it there vs the Lexus dealer that is 30 minutes away. I don't hear any humming/popping/cracking sounds that I have seen others mention in posts talking about audio problems in their LS. I don't remember hearing anything odd/different before the sounds stopped in my car. I appreciate any input you, or anyone else, can provide.
