I just ordered a can of POR15 caliper paint in Black, a sheet of white vinyl lexus logos, 3 cans of Brake Kleen, and a can of clear coat. I'll post pics once I'm done. Wish me luck!!!

Clear coating at the end will preserve the decals and prevent lifting. You just have to make sure to use high heat paint.

So I completed the caliper painting. I don't think my "touch" was as good as PwrdbyM, but they turned out ok. The high heat Clear Coat made the vinyl lettering slightly yellowed, but to the unknowing, you couldn't tell. I'm happy with them...

The POR15 went on smooth, just like PwrdbyM said. I went to the store for my wife and pulled up next to a new LC500 with black calipers from the factory and couldn't tell the difference. All in, I spent around $65 for paint, brushes, brake kleen, vinyl logos, clear coat, so I'm pumped. Bled my brakes while had wheels off and made a day of it. Biggest problem I had was keeping the damn pollen from the pecan trees from causing me problems. Was a beautiful 65 degree day and had the garage doors up with the tunes rocking and right after I painted the first one, I stepped back to admire my work and saw yellow pollen all over the hood and damn near freaked. Luckily, no problems.

Thanks for all the help guys

^ Good work but I think the decal is facing the wrong way.

This thread is very timely - I just bought some of the yellow caliper paint for my Corvette. I'm going to start painting them this weekend, if it isn't too cold. It's good to see some real world results and to get some tips on how to apply. Thanks for sharing.
