I bought the White w/Blk Interior version of that 3 months ago, looks like same options minus the lane departure, mine had 25k more miles and 2 years older in a 2010 model for $15K. The difference 2 years makes... My 08 460 was the same dk blue, might as well be black most days. Tint is going to be your friend.

Congrats! I'm a big fan of buying a completely loaded car on the used market, since you take advantage of all the high-cost features at minimal extra cost. Sounds like a real bargain for this car! Seems like the prices are really dropping on the 2008-2012 models, which means lots of great deals to be had for those looking to buy! I paid $27,500 for my 2010 LS600hL this year (all options, plus Executive Seating package, 66k miles), and thought I really got a bargain (original MSRP was $127k). I don't really use all of the extra features all the time, but it's nice that I don't have any features to "lust over" when I'm surfing CarGurus ;-)

Looks like a great car. I'm sure you'll have many years of happy driving in that beauty. Enjoy.

Also, "warped brake rotors"...I've verified, on Silvia, it's not that rotors warp (on street cars, under anything but full-out race conditions), but rather, they wind up with deposits left on them from hot brake pads, resulting in high spots. This can be corrected, without removing a wheel, by re-bedding the pads. I'm talking, so hot, they're going to smell.
Hi McKellyb, Hope you are excited for the delivery of your blue LS. I think it's a great color, and the car looks great! Congrats on pouncing quickly on this great bargain.

I hope you also checked on Autocheck for any accidents. It's great that you could get a friend to do a careful inspection before buying the car. The only thing missing on the service history is any record of oil changes or other scheduled service after 57735 miles in July 2017 until the current 76753 mile reading. The vehicle will need the 60K service (typically all spark plugs are changed and brake flush). Hopefully, the last owner had the car serviced regularly at a non-Lexus/Toyota dealer that would not automatically show up in the history. Good luck, and many miles of happy driving!

Comotiger, I had very recently put plugs in my '08, so I'm ready for it. Honestly, those OEM plugs are good for 120K miles, based on my experience.

One 'accident'. Sounds like someone either backed into it, or the driver backed into something. Rear bumper cover replaced and painted, that's it, and it's per the Lexus dealer in NC. That's the only thing I could find, anywhere...which made sense.

Autocheck claims it had unibody or frame damage back in '14, which I'm skeptical about, because the times/mileages don't work if you figure it was off the road for a month for said damage. I've had reports on other cars I've owned come back with mistakes, too, so it wouldn't surprise me if it were a mistake. Even if it isn't, there's no way someone is doing a hack fix on a leased $100K car which is 18 months old.

I'm going over it with a fine toothed comb when it arrives. It's getting an oil change, regardless, trans oil change, diff oil change, and everything I can think of looked at. Brakes/tires/hoses/belts...I'm putting the filters I removed from Silva in this one, too. Has an 18" spare, because of the 19" wheel option, but I know where there's one of those...

/facepalm

I'll clean the interior, then treat the leather with Leather Honey. Also, interior air filter. Probably new wiper blades...coat all the weatherstripping with this serious Honda weatherstripping stuff I got from Japan...and it should be good.

I hope the transport trip from ATL to DFW is unremarkable.

DerrickM, you know what that's from, right?

Hi McKellyb, I am looking forward to pics inside and out, after you completely detail the car.

So, have you thought of names yet for your new beauty??

Nope.

The name, for now, being as I've yet to see/drive it, is the Blue Goose.

The Blue Goose, haha. Love it.

FYI, if it has the 18' spare they either swapped the spare at some point, or the car originally had the 18s and they added the 19s after they bought it. If the car comes from the factory with the 19s, it will have a 19" wheel.

Just remember to do a drain and fill with the transmission fluid change, not a flush.
