Default New Tires

Hi all

Well, I also broke down and bought new tires for the Lexus.

Pirelli Cinturato All Season P7 plus.

I will, tell you in the short distance I drove today, it really does make a difference. I swear it is so much smoother and quieter than previously. I also got the 255/45-19 instead of 245. I wanted a wider tire because they look so much better to me

Another concert to these tires.

Have a good day!

Congrats! Great tires.

I'd love to see a picture of the wider tires...

I hope this gives a good representation of the wider tire. I don’t have a before the change.

I want some too. I'm going to save up 500 bucks and get me a set.

What brand and model tire did you have before?

Hi

i can’t remember the name of the original set as they were purchased by the dealer b4 I bought it. They were a Korean brand. They were very hard and noisy. I waited 2 years to replace cuz they were new.

However, I am glad I got the cinturatos.

Thanks to to all who provided guidance about these tires over the years.

If if anyone is thinking of replacing, please give these consideration. These were 219.00 per tire at Discount Tire here in Texas plus all fees etc. came out to 1192.10 for everything.

I like the P7 a lot too. Will have to try the 255/45R19 next time. Has anyone tried the Michelin Premier AS in 245/45R19 yet compared to the P7? TireRack rates the two very close to one another but I haven't seen any first-hand comparisons from 460 owners yet. I would be happy to do an A/B test but won't need new tires for at least another year.

Yeah, the 255 looks good. I'll try those. Gotta come up with $500 bucks first.

I'm at Discount Tire getting some Pirelli P7 Plus tires installed. I decided to go with the 245 instead of the 255. I've always used Michelin on all my vehicles. I hope these are as reliable as Michelins have been.

Hi

have had both and from my experience, I prefer Pirelli tires better.

I hope you like these as much. I’m pretty sure you will notice a difference especially if you drive back to Texas;-)

Take care.

Didn't notice this previously... is that carpet in your garage, Cubby?

Hi Fto1

Yes, it is. It does help in tracking dirt in to house. Have gotten funny looks when I have to vacuum it tho.
