Default Better ride after tire rotation?

Is it my imagination or do others also notice better ride quality right after a tire rotation? No change in tire pressures. I think having the car on a lift lets the suspension pieces hang loose or straighten out and properly reset when lowered back to the ground. Any real truth or science to it?

Do you mean the suspension itself seems softer/more responsive/adsorbs bumps better? Or do you mean that the car just drives smoother and has less vibration? If you mean smoother, it could be that one of your front tires was slightly out of balance which can be felt more in the steering wheel and through the front of the car, and now that that tire is on the back, it's less noticeable. If you mean suspension related... I can't visualize how unloading the suspension would improve it's performance, other than maybe just for the first couple of minutes until everything resettles back into place under the weight of the car.

The suspensions seems to be dampening better and the ride seems a little bit better controlled. Could just be coincidence and maybe I'm unknowingly going over the same route and hitting bumps at a slightly different angle than usual and in a way that the suspension absorbs more easily. I dunno. The car seems to always ride a little better after each tire rotation.

Hmm. Interesting. There's an easy way to tell for sure. Jack up the car and let it sit on jack stands for 30 mins or an hour (without rotating the tires) then go drive it around.

Probably, huh? I also notice my previous cars rode better after a good wash.
