So a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the XM traffic alerts showed up on my 2014 LS Nav screen even though I do not have an active subscription. I thought maybe it was from one of their free weekend trials, but it’s still there. Anyone else seeing this in their car?

I know more recent Lexus models use HD radio for traffic, but I do not believe my 2014 has this.

 

Yep - probably some promo. Apparently they did the same thing w/ XM Radio last year but I didn't notice because I never use it

 

Same here with my 2009 LS460.
One week ago noticed live traffic icons on my nav screen, never seen this before.

I did notice that about a week ago. I was paying for the service when I first got the car but it wasn't worth it, you get better info from Google Maps.

Yep, I've been getting it as well, however I find it completely useless.
I'd prefer Waze over anything, but just my opinion.

 

Ah, I noticed it the other day, it showed construction. As for traffic, it's still crap compared to Waze
