Does anyone know of a thread that shows how to remove a center console on a 2007 ls.

Thanks for the search. Needing to add a Bluetooth input to my factory nav radio and bypass the movement lock out on our 08. Looks easy to remove units

There are threads from over the years that I remember require removal of the console, and many have detailed steps and photos. You'd need to search a bit, however. One entailed installation of a remote starter, another one was from a member that replaced his grey carpet with a black one, and SW17LS did one on rattles on the console (not sure how many steps he outlined, but it's worth a look if you find it).

Alternatively, go to techinfo.toyota.com - it's $15 for two days and will give you plenty of details on this and many other things.

That video provided by Darknight shows you how to take the shift console cover, side covers, and cigarette tray out. After that you should see a couple 10mm bolts holding the console in place to remove the rest. I just took a peek at mine and inside the center console where the aux input is, if you fold back the little carpet inside you'll see two 10mm bolts. There should be a few more by the shift console area and you should have it out. It is not a common thing to take out. Several members have taken out the Nav/radio to install the DVD/Nav bypass. Also if you do the bypass mod make sure you buy the plastic trim removal tools shown in the video and NOT use a screwdriver or metal scraper etc !

Good advice. Also, be careful when putting back the screws at the bottom of the headunit/controls, I lost one of those suckers in there.
