2013 LS460L AWD - help me toddler proof it!
Hi All,
I’m taking delivery of a certified one next week. I have been wanting a 460 for 10 years ever since I saw the 07 at the NY auto show! For the front I will go with Weathertech. For the second row I would prefer a one piece 2nd row all-weather mat but it seems Weathertech is 2 pieces. Is anyone using a 1 piece for the second row they would recommend?
i will have two car seats in the back, I am familiar with the recommended car seat protectors on this forum but I am curious if anyone is using something that covers the entire 2nd row but still works with car seats. The rear ventilated seats are a worry with toddlers. This will be more a road trip car with the toddlers vs an everyday driver for them.
Any other toddler proof ideas out there?

It's their shoes I'd be worried about...kicking the back of the seats and wearing their way through them. Maybe take their shoes off? I know it can be a pain, but if you're talking about long rode trips? Might be worth it. My kids used to kick the living hell out of my seats, drove me nuts! Never mind the little pieces of cereal all over the place and the sippy cups leaking all over the seats (and those things aren't supposed to spill). Haha. It's a losing battle, trust me.
And not to make you feel bad but it actually gets worse. Chauffeured my son and his friend back from wrestling yesterday, it was like a tornado was making its rounds in my back seat.

In the LWB they shouldn’t be able to reach the back of the seats to kick them.
You could use any seat cover that allows access to the seatbelts.

I have two little kids as well. I have Weathertech floorliners for front and rears and seem to hold up well. I'm sure you can find 1-piece from eBay. For seat protectors, I went with these

Let me be clear about one thing.
The weathertech floor mats you see on amazon will NOT work for a 2013 Swb or lwb I know this firsthand and even verified with weathertech at their warehouse is located 20 minutes from my home. The only offer the floor liners, not floor mats for our 2013+ up Ls’ and the cargo liners for the trunk.
I originally purchased floor mats for my ‘13 when I got the car a month or so ago right off of amazon since they said it would fit. No. They fit the ‘12 and older. Part numbers are completley different and the hooks that latch it down also are different and it simply won’t work. I went through a huge ordeal even with me being a long time prime member (seller was the issue here, not Amazon) that resulted in multiple disputes and nearly legal action to get my money back and then some.
Bottom line. Order from weathertech direct on their website or pick it up directly like how I did if you have a hub or warehouse available to take care of such request(s).

vomit bags; can't stress enough ...pads under car seats; everything else you can just clean and vacuum. I have little boys and keeping the car clean is a challenge. They eat and drink in the car aot and its like weekly 10-20 mins cleanup job

Thank you for the suggestions!
I just ordered Weathertech directly from them. Mentioned a AAA ad and saved 5%, no code necessary. Picked up one of their sunshades for the front window while I was at it. Vomit bags is genius. I’ll put those in the Sienna too! I will also lay towels between my two car seats to catch food and liquiid which should make for easier cleaning. Gonna hold off on kick mats for now to see if the lwb makes these unnecessary. Will now order up mats for the car seats from amazon.
