Default How to get mirrors to swivel when turning car off

Hello

I just got my car back from service and I asked them not to the touch the presets.....anyway when I locked my car 2014 lexus ls the outside mirrors would rotate in and how they dont. Any ideas how to re establish this. I really only need it because if I lock my car and walk away and forget if I locked it I can just look and get a visual via the mirrors.

Thank you.

There is an auto mirror switch to the left of the steering wheel. I keep it on auto so it closes when i lock the car.

Thank you somehow managed not to find that in the manual. This really helps me out.

If it doesn't have an "Auto" setting (pretty sure my 2010 doesn't) then just leave the switch for adjusting your mirrors on either the 'L' or the 'R', not in the center, and they should automatically fold.

I think this is how you activate the side window dipping when in reverse.

Yep. If you don't have the fold button to the left of your steering wheel, then you don't have the feature. However, I thought this was a standard feature on the LS.

It's a standard feature unless it was left out in some regions.

"Outside rear view mirror switches" is the reference in the manual. For a 2015 (I don't have a soft copy for 2014) is about page 176.....

There are two switches - one for adjusting the side view mirrors and the other rocker switch for the swivel function. Leaving the rocker in "the neutral" position will get the result you seek...
