When I approach the car, and unlock it, my keys are in my pocket. I simply reach for the door handle, and the car unlocks and I open the door. The problem is, I want ALL of the doors to unlock, not just the drivers door. I have kids, and I invariably have to unlock the doors for them once I'm in the car, leaving them standing outside for a short while.
I would have thought there'd be a setting where you can choose to have either all the doors unlock when you tap inside the drivers door handle, or only the drivers door, but I can't seem to find where to change the setting.
I know I can always pull my keys out, grab the key fob and press the "open" button twice, but hey... I'm lazy, and don't want to have to do that! (I know, I know.... 1st world problems....) Also, at night, if it's dark and I want to get into my car quickly and allow my kids to get in quickly, pulling out the fob and having to find the open button isn't all that quick, certainly not as quick as just reaching for the door handle.
Yes, it can be changed. When I touch my door handle all the doors unlock. It's been so long I don't remember how to change it. Check your manual I'm sure the instructions are in there somewhere.

I thank you, my kids thank you, my parrot thanks you!
Really appreciate it!
I would have never thought to use the key fob to change the settings!

Glad to help.
Yes, there's an owner's manual.
My CPO came with all the manuals IE owner's manual, technology quick guide, lemon law guide, and navigation system owner's manual.
