Default 2010 AWD Suncore Kit - What do you think

Did the conversion today and disappointed to say I am not happy with the outcome and am wondering if anyone has had or heard of any similar experience. or maybe can tell me if I just have higher expectations and this is what this product is like.

As you can see by the photos the car is SO MUCH lower to the ground on the front and when taken on a test drive to check the new struts the car was scraping off every speed bump as well as other imperfections.
Suncore is saying there is nothing wrong with what they sent me ..... they actually sent me a replacement that did not fix the issue. They agreed to accept them back and issue a refund but I am just very disappointed this did not work out as expected.

Opinions?

If you bought them within the past month, I'm sorry to say but you probably should have researched a bit more as I found this a few weeks back: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...onversion.html

After reading that, and now your story, I'm confident I can go ahead and cross this one off the list for potential fixes if the air struts go on me. Another user here is piecing together his own conversion so hopefully that will go well, but the more I look around the more I'm inclined to simply replace the struts with OEM units when they finally go.

That doesn't look all that low to me, how did it compare to the rear? Don't forget that last lug nut either, btw.

agreed, that looks about normal height

The air ride naturally seems to sit higher then springs, I had to manually change the ride settings through the sensors to get mine to sit properly

Can you please give us some details on how your conversion went? did you get any warning lights on the dash ?

How did your mechanic deal with that issue ? Thank you very much

and I'm doing the same swap only I purchased the KYB struts with tanabe springs rather then going through suncore

They are just selling you a no name strut/spring for hugely inflated price

Send it back and go back to air with Arnott replacements.

The job itself went pretty easy.... its just a remove and replace type of thing. I did get the Height light on but its because I removed the actuators.... from a previous post I read here connecting those back should fix the issue. I removed the compressor relay to prevent it from working.

Regarding your comment of getting the KYB struts , I am thinking about going that route but the AWD air suspension is a little different as you can see if the first image. it requires a very hard to find part if it even exists in that form.

Arnott do not have a solution to the AWD model. Only the RWD. the front struts are different between the two models for some reason.

I will agree it doesn't look that low. I ride mine lower than that with the ASC. But I have a RWD car, and the ride is still good to where I lower it.

Thanks for the reply

BY actuators I'm assuming you mean the height sensors?

I have heard (even from suncore technician ) that the height sensors should be left in place to avoid any dash warning lights but its good to hear that it went smoothly.
