Engine air filter box question

Engine air filter box question
When I look at the air filter box, I can see some of the orange border of the air filter showing up on the inner side of the filter box. The metal clips are on correctly and the plastic tabs on the inner side seems to be inserted correctly as well but I wonder if it's normal to see the the edge of the filter from the inner side? I don't see the filter when looking at the filter box from the outer side Shouldn't the filter box be completely and hermetically cover the air filter?

To the OP, did you buy these by any chance?
If so, I did as well and promptly returned them for the same reason (fitment). On the recommendation of another CL member, I bought these:
