Default rear shade

hey guys something very weird happened today....when i reverse my rear shade goes down automatically, after a certain speed it goes back up. for some reason today it only goes up about %60 of the way. i press the button it goes back down fine, press it again and the same thing happened....did it over and over and same thing....went back there to take a look and can't figure out what it could be, any ideas guys?

There could be some physical obstruction that's preventing it from extending completely. Do you hear the motor running even after it extends to the point where it gets stuck? Check all the linkages carefully for any obstruction etc. You could also go into the vehicle settings menu and reset the rear shade option (or maybe it's done in Carista, can't remember) a couple of times, restart the vehicle each time and see if the gremlin goes away.

I went in through Carista and changed the setting so that it does no go down every time I put the car in reverse. It now goes down only when I push the button (which I never do).
