I always enjoy reading the feedback here of folks who test drive other cars and compare them to the LS. Anyone driven the new S90 yet? Volvo is bombarding me via mail- I have done some reading and watched video reviews and like the look of the car. They took some design cues that I like from a few Mercedes models and blended them together (exterior). Interior looks pretty nice- interesting blend of tech plus old-school feel. Anyone have any experience behind the wheel or seen one of these in person?

Great looking car, not in the same league as the LS. The 4 cyl powerplant and the transverse layout would be deal breakers for me.

 

I haven't driven the S90 but someone at work has the new XC90 and it's impressive. The 4 cylinder engine sounds like a small six; and it moves fairly well (the S90 is lighter so it probably has more get up and go).

The interior is amazing; beautiful leather, fantastic design details, it looks like a Bentley design experiment. I'm sure the S90 is probably similarly amazing inside.
