Default AC Blower

Try this question again.

Could someone tell me how long it take for your AC to start blowing when you start the car?
Or after you start the car. How long before the display lights up so you can see the numbers and adjust the temp.?

Mine is taking about 30 sec to as long as one minute before I can set a temp or get it to blow out.

Does this sound normal?

Thanks

I'm not sure I fully understand what you are experiencing On my car the interior temp numbers come up immediately. If it is hot outside, the cooling comes on within a couple seconds. In cold weather the blower will not come on until the engine is at or near normal operating temp.

Mine 2011 start right away. You shouldn't wait 30 sec

I don't drive the car much but I thought something was wrong. My OUTSIDE temp only displays when I start the car. The INTERIOR temp numbers don't come on until after 30 to 60 seconds.
So I have to wait until they display before I can even see the numbers to adjust the temp or get the blower going.

Also this was on my list for the dealer to check out with my recent 30K service. They just said everything checked out ok.
I felt sure it did not use to work that way but was not 100% sure. Again don't drive it much.
With the info here I have more to go on to complain to the service dept.

Also if I retstart the car withing a few minutes it does show the inside display. Just not after it has been sitting awhile like 30 minutes or more.
