Well... it has been a pleasure being a member here since 2006. My LS460 has been sold and I'll keep lurking around here every once in a while. If and when Lexus comes up with a totally new LS car I'll be highly temped to re-join the family IF they keep the V8 alive. If they go all V6 , I'll never be back... Thanks everyone for the immense amount of great information here, this is a civilized forum that deserves a lot of respect. Keep enjoying your LS, it is without a doubt one of the best cars ever built.

Glad you enjoyed your car as I anticipate doing the same for as long if not longer.
What's in the plans may I ask?
Also, I sent you a PM a few days ago regarding the PS module.

If I leave the ls depending when and if they build the sc (hopefully a big coupe). That is what I'm leaning too as well. Basically when they drop the new ls I'll get one 2 years after if I like it, so far so good but need to see the production model.

I've replied your PM before I created this thread.

Next car I'm not sure yet, but it will be either a convertible or a modern muscle car.

Take care my friend. Sorry to see you go. I agree with your sentiments about the possible absence of a V8 in the future. Fortunately, I'll have my pick of many V8 equipped 2015 and older LS's to choose from when I replace my 08.

I've enjoyed of your postings and hopefully you'll rejoin the Lexus family soon. Life is just a parenthesis in eternity. Well said.

I felt the exact same way after owning my 1999 LS400 for about 6 years... so I got an SL55, which was exactly what I needed. But now I'm happy as ever to be back in an LS, just bought a 460 and man is it comfortable!

Same here. We're getting ready to list the 460 LWB (someone's going to get a heck of a deal) because the wife needs an SUV for the dogs. And just tonight I amused myself as I went into sport mode and kept up with a Porsche Cayman on a spirited trip to the grocery.

These V8's will be around for quite a while, even if only as transplants.
