Default Spoon Sports Rigid Collars for the LS460

Just wondering if anyone has bought these for there LS460? I have seen and heard great reviews installed on other cars and couldn't find any info in this forum or google. Any feedback would be great, if not I guess I'll have to be the guinea pig.

What amounts to crush washers for $2800?!?!!?

I'd also venture to guess that the LS is one of the few cars that could actually benefit from something like this given the build quality of the car. I could see these making a drastic improvement on my 90 Civic sedan, not so much on the LS. She's still super tight.

My friends are the distributors for Spoon USA, so I've had these for almost a couple years now(?) Great product. Car definitely feels more solid after installing these.

Your math is off by an extra zero. These can be had for $200-300 (at the very most). Personally can't recall the price I paid, but definitely worth the money. Improvement is somewhat subjective, since everyone's level of "comfort" is defined differently; however, after having mine installed, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to do the same.

Its Japanese yen. 1000 YEN is equal to $9.07 USD. So 18,473 YEN is $167.67. Its definitely not breaking the bank cost wise. Plus I just got back from a 2 week trip from Japan trust me I was converting my money my at the airport and have all this damn change because the smallest Japanese bill they have is 1000 Yen. everything else is just coins.

I'll take your word for it. I know Spoon products pull a premium but that definitely sounds more reasonable

I found a video for an s2000 but I supposed it would be the same. Thank goodness I have access to a lift or else I would be paying someone to do this for me. I can only imagine the work I would be doing in my garage to put these on.

In short, the Rigid Collars acts as guides for the bolts that hold the chassis and sub frame together, so that there is perfect alignment between the two holes the bolts are passed through. These holes, to ease assembly, are usually much larger than they should be, which over time allows the sub frames to mis-align throwing the car's geometry out the window.
