Hopefully it's jut the O-ring. Maybe the tech who did the oil change did not change the O-ring.
If it's still leaking then change the filter housing as mentioned by dal and Dev.

Did Lexus not provide a report stating their findings regarding the inspection?
Also, make sure to ask the selling dealer for compensation.
This shouldn't be on your dime.

That's too much even for Lexus.
Go to Toyota and give them your vehicle make and year and they should have or have access to the right part number. Post a picture of the part so we can make sure you have the right length perforated tube.
That aftermarket filter is not an option. There is no coming back from sudden oiling issues.

I would contact the dealer you bought the car from and let them know your situation. They have access to dealer wholesale pricing and can get you that part overnighted to you if you provide them with a part number.

dkang76 it's unfortunate you can't enjoy your LS instead dealing with an oil leak issue. I hope you get the issue solved soon. Shame on the dealership for not fixing the problem. I've had issue with dealerships in the past and I understand how frustrating it can be.

when I purchased my previous LS460 from a BMW dealer, they tightened the filter housing very hard which caused it to break when i tried to get it out in the next oil change. Dealer told me take to the Lexus dealer, get oil change and replace the filter housing and they paid for it.

I agree that this might be just an O-ring,been there done that
