yes. I believe so. I honestly think it will last longer than most of us will keep the car.

Instructions say to drain coolant from underneath the car. Can I skip that part to install the Pcv?

I am going to try swapping the PCV this week. Car has no leaks and it’s burning or evaporating motor oil to much. If that does not work I guess I can look into a oil treatment of some sort.

Yes you can get to pcv without taking intake manifold off. Going to get a fuel line to put new one in I will update

35 minutes? I call BS. By the way you have a coolant leak at bottom of the throttle body.

Well, I know it takes around 10 minutes to take off the throttle body and all the associated parts before it but I'm not sure if the pcv is so close to the front...I poked around and all I could see was the foam under the intake.

You are right, it does not take long to remove the throttle body. But if the hose going to the valve was never removed, it is pain on its own in addition to the compression band. But then, you have to install the valve, put the hose back and the band. It is my opinion that "35 minutes" claim is BS.

Have been there and tried that. This method doesn't work on LS460 1UR-FSE engine, although it works on GX460 1UR-FS engine.

Congratulations! I Believe you. I'd like to retry it on my LS460. Would you please elaborate a bit more about how you did it? I mean, how you pulled out the old PCV valve and how you installed the new one? The details. How did you remove the sponge form surrounding the PCV valve/tube without damaging it?
