Default 2010 LS 460 Height Front Vs. Rear Question

I noticed that my 2010 LS 460 is higher in the front than the rear. It has air suspension. Is that normal? Pictures attached Thanks for your input.

sorry i was in a rush and couldn't elaborate more

air suspension or not, the front wheel gap on ls460 is always more than that in the back. for car with air suspension that i have worked with, always have to lower the front more in order to "match" the rear

Yup..front has more "gap" then rear. I set my data controller on 5 front and 4 rear to eliminate fender gap

Also the 'Auto Brake' engaged will make the rear drop slightly as well.

It's because the rear quarter panel has less of a radius than the front fenders. Measure the height off the ground at the front of the side skirt compared to the rear or the skirt. See if it's really different

Your car is an AWD, I take it, since you are in MA? That may explain the bulk of the extra "gap". I see this on my current car which is also AWD.

My RWD 460 with air suspension, on the other hand, could - on occasion (typically right after coming off the highway) - be slightly lower in front - still more gap than in the rear, but not by much. Sometimes it would surprise me actually.

Yup..my AWD has more gap than a LS with rwd. Main reason my controller is set lower on front vs rear

That is correct it is an AWD, and yes an AWD is necessary in MA for winter driving

I figured based on the model year! Ever since AWD has been offered ('09), RWD LS cars are virtually non-existent up here (well, except for those of us who have/had '07 and '08s)

I never ventured in the snow with my RWD 460, something about keeping road salt off it (more than anything else). The shrink is helping with that, just not quickly enough.
