Welps, didn't have to make that call as I received the letter today. Since mine is currently just a hazing problem and not too severe I'm curious to see what they'll say. However, I do notice that because of the hazing it causes a reflection on my windshield making it hard to see while I'm driving. I think it's a safety issue more than cosmetic.

They did the right thing by finally addressing this widely known problem with many Lexus cars/interiors.

We were talking about this over a year ago.

Default No More Sticky Dashboards!

Received a letter from Lexus yesterday. For 2007 LS 460's, Lexus is extending the warranty on the dashboard and door panels to 10 years from the first date of service. Appears there is a problem with cracking due to humidity. They will replace/repair once they have the logistics in place, i.e. materials, etc. If you have already had the repairs done and paid out-of-pocket, they will reimburse you for the costs, providing you have proof of payment. Anyone out there get a similar letter?

Just wondering if anyone have an update on this recall or got their dash and interior panels replaced?

I contacted my service rep and he said they expected to start having the parts available in August. I wouldn't hold my breath, but still a sign of good faith on their part. My glove box and center console plastic bits get melty in the heat as well. I wonder if they'll be included...
