Need some clarification on the 2011 and 2012 LS460.....
Hello everyone...long time lurker now getting serious about a 2011 or 2012 purchase.....
I'm looking at getting a SWB AWD LS460, but either I'm getting confused or letting my eyes trick me a bit when comparing the front lower facias of the AWD car and the RWB car that comes with the stock 5 spoke wheels. The lower front end of the RWD cars just seem to have a more "sporty" look to them, and I can't tell if this is really the case, or if I'm letting the 5 spoke wheels "trick" me into seeing it as a more "sporty" front end. So my question is: are there any differences in the front end between the RWD and AWD vehicles? I know that a "sport" trim was offered, but the cars I see on the CPO site with the 5 spoke wheels do not have the Sport Suspension button on the front console, nor do they have the multi-colored seats as most Sport models have, so for the time being I can only assume that the cars I'm seeing are regular RWD cars that were ordered with the 5 spoke wheels (as it appears most RWD cars were delivered from the factory).
Living in the Chicagoland area, RWD is doable, but AWD is much more preferred than the latter, so my goal is to buy an AWD car and swap out the stock multi spoke wheels for s set of OEM 5 spoke wheels.
I'm not afraid to be told that I'm wrong in my assumptions, so please chime in and let your thoughts be known. Many thanks to everyone's time and consideration.....

I own a 2012 LS 460 AWD and I have seen a few 2011's. To the best of my knowledge there is no difference in the front end of the cars. The AWD option also includes heated steering wheel and the wood/leather gear shifter, which is not standard on the RWD of those years.

All of the RWD models from that vintage come with the 5 spoke wheels standard at least all that I have seen advertised and there were many.
