Unhappy "HELP"!!! LS 460 L leaning to right

When I got off work today I noticed my car leaning to the right. I never noticed this before, but a fellow coworker observed it as well when we was in the parking lot. Yes I have the air suspension and was thinking if the air suspension has something to do with it. I have about 92000 miles on it right now and no warranty. Do anybody have any idea how much this would cost and is it safe to drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated at this time.

Does it balance itself after starting/driving? I had the same issue on my wife's 10 LWB, it fixes itself after starting, brought it up to the dealer attention last oil change and they couldn't find the problem because the car of course refused to do it again while there even after left overnight. They ran all the diagnostics on it and could not find anything.

Sounds like you have a leaking air spring/shock.

Is something like that expensive to repair, cause I'm taking it down to Lexus tomorrow.

It seems like it's a Lil better now. To be honest I really can't tell if its leaning anymore, but my wife said it's very subtle now. Also does your car still lean every once in awhile or has it completely went away???

If it is a shock leaking down overnight, it will need to be replaced. I imagine parts and labor will run you 1k. Let us know how it goes.

It has been almost a month and have not seen it again. Shop foreman at the dealer told me that if the air bag in the shock is defective, it will sag over night. They asked me to take a picture when it does again to change under CPO.

There is a test of raising and lowering the car and measure height low and high. Also, they leave it over night and measure again in the morning.

One other item to check is the height sensor, I believe that you can easily change this yourself.

If I am in your shoes, I would take it to the dealer for an hour diagnostics and change the sensors myself if it is the problem. If it is the shock then that a bigger job.

Hope for the best

Brought it to the Lexus dealership today and the mechanic couldn't see anything wrong with it, but he said he's gonna leave it overnight on the lifter and then check it tomorrow morning. I Pray it ain't nothing seriously wrong with my car that's gonna cost a lot of money. The dealership did give me a 2014 or 15 Lexus ES350 as a loaner and I must say, I really appreciate my car more and more. I'm glad I got another Lexus though, and noticed that the changes and improvements from my car to the newer models are very subtle. I guess Lexus really do a good job at future proofing their vehicles.

Guess I'm in the same boat as you. i just got my car back today and the Lexus dealership told me that everything checked out good, but to get a warranty because the air bags for the leveling suspension is very expensive.

Buy used or new or convert. You can go coils with struts or coil-overs. Lexus of South Atlanta has a new air-shock for $1,001.

Converting is less then 2k if you source the parts yourself.

This is great news, Thanks. I have a couple of questions: 1. does this change work with my controls in the car. 2. Is it cheaper. 3. Is it better???
