Spoke with Lexus of Tulsa today when we got home from Nebraska. The hourly charge is $108 plus the $99.00. They ordered several keys last Friday when the received the version 14.1 software last Thursday. They are expecting the keys in by Friday.

Thanks Dennis. I'm still debating betweent this update, $210 and over 2 hours to Tulsa.
I guess I'm lucky because I called my Lexus dealership and they said they would install the nav update for free as long as I bought it from them. They also programmed my new key fob for free even though I didn't buy it from them. They're not perfect but little things like that make it easier for me to go back to them.
I'm a newbie to Lexus but I've quickly found out that the variance in service and prices between different Lexus dealerships is staggering.
Does anyone know if ONE key would work for MULTIPLE vehicles? Obviously, labor would be multiplied by number of vehicles, but might could save SOMETHING on the key(s).
On the 2014 LS you also have the option of using the Enform App Suite to search for locations and then send them to the car. When you are in the car you turn on the app on your phone and then from the car's main menu start the Enform app suite app on the car. You will see an option to download saved destinations. On my car I was able to input a destination that the built in navigation system could not find. Maybe the app is sending geo coordinates and the map system finds the nearest road.
It's my belief (at least that's what the lexus sales guy also said) that Lexus will not charge an annual subscription for the destination portion of the app. going forward. Can someone with a 2013 car who does not have the destination assist subscription active, check this out?
