Default Radio Volume

What volume level do you guys typically listen to you ML on? It sounds amazing but I'm nervous to listen to anything above 25 (which is by no means as loud as I thought it would be)in fear of messing up my amp, as I have read they can be troublesome. And I keep my bass level midway.

Depends on the input, but usually around 44-50. If its going to break its going to break. I'm not going to miss out on enjoying it for fear that someday it may break.

I might get in a car crash. Doesn't mean I'm not going to drive the car....

Good point sir. I registered for lexus drivers to get my service history thinking it may have already been replaced but it didn't mention it, however it is a little vague with descriptors.

Greg was dead on!

The ML amp will fail due to issue not related how loud you play it so enjoy it and yours may never fail. Not all ML amps will die, far as vague descriptions, you can have your service rep at the dealer tell you what the was done. Their system allows them to drill down into the service codes to see what work/request were performed. My rep let me use his PC to see what the Lexus Drivers site won't show, I was surprised he offered! Defiantly cleared up some stuff on my cars history I always wanted to know.

Great points. I will def speak to my advisor when I go in for service to see if he can shed some light for me on my cars history.

Interesting question!!! My level of volume on ML is between 6 and 9 and it depend what I'm listening radio station, CD or HDD. So far Mark Levinson sound system is the best I ever experienced in any car!!!

Hmmmm................. 10 and under would be barely audible background for me. I usually listen between 20 and 40 but I'll crank it up to 50 on occasion (don't even know how much higher it goes as I've never gone over this but I'm guessing 100?)

Mostly, I listen at 50-53. My settings are up around 7-9 for all three. This is for the aux input though.

I bought the ML system for a 2014 460L. I mainly listen to the satellite radio. I was surprised that the volume doesn't seem to go that high, up to 62 like someone said. I honestly thought for $1500 or whatever it was additional, that it would be louder. Hey, I like AC/DC. What can I say?
