A fix it ticket is normally a $20 to $25 court cost and a sign off first offense only, after that the court costs increase!!!!!!

Here is my Suntek 35% ceramic all the way around. I like the fact that it has a brownish color rather then black. Compliments the color of the car. I paid $350 for my ceramic with lifetime warranty. That $650 price you were quoted is high. As far as tinting the windshield, yes I know it is not legal but I honestly don't care. The heat and UV reduction are well worth it. I don't get a second look from local police. Maybe because their cars are tinted even darker.

Personally,
I don't own a vehicle that doesn't have the front window tinted. I usually go with 50-60%.

Wow didnt know tinting the front windshield was so popular! I will be re tingin my 2000, will look into this ceramic tint. 15% all around with maybe 50% on the windshield. How does it feel driving at night with the tinted windshield? The glare from oncoming traffic on some highways really hurts my eyes at night.

It is a noticeable difference on glare at night, to the point where you don't think about it. However i would still like to go to a 35% from my 50% (just afraid i'll get towed!)

+1, cuts down some glare at night. If you do 60-75% you will hardly notice its there. Biggest plus for me is the extra heat rejection and UV blocking during the day for those of us in primarily good weather states.

Ceramic coated tint is best for heat rejection? Good brands you would recommend?

I had a bad tint experience lol, I got 15% ceramic installed in back 5 recently. After an hour or so the Tint started stinking like bad chemicals, after 3 days still smells bad. After my complaining, they decided there going to pull it and reinstall a different brand. I told them they got a bad batch, better call their supplier, they tried to play it off, not on my watch...It actually looked good but there's a limit when it comes to smell, same goes for chicks riding in my car too, no antiperspirant no ride lol.

Actually thinking about ripping my 35% off the front this weekend and doing 15% like the old car, and even considering going to a 35% on the windshield like my friends RX I saw last weekend!! (looks real bad!)

Good point. I'll go 15% on the fronts so people can't see my face anymore and also have the same shop install my HID fogs.
