You're in sunny Florida... come up here where it doesn't get lighter than twilight during the winter and see if you still feel the same...

Yeah, but I drive mostly at night....I don't like snow, experienced that before. One layer of 15% is not really dark, 4 years ago when I was 19, I used to drive around in my old car with double layer 5% black tints all around and 1 layer 20% on the windshield for 6 months. Loved it.

Very nice! I just bought an identical looking 460 to yours about 10 days ago, and trying to decide what tint to go with, and whether or not to tint the sunroof. Right now I'm leaning towards something like your setup for the front windshield and sunroof, but maybe take it down to 60% for the windshield.

I'm contemplating tinting my car, just the back windows.

However, I prefer very light tint.

I searched this thread, but didn't see anyone with 50% tint. Anyone have any pictures of 50% tint or LLumar blue tint?

My car has 50% tint on the front side glass. The weather is too terrible to take it out right now but I'll try to get a picture here as soon as it improves.

50% you won't really be able to tell a lot from pictures.

That will be great, thanks.

Yeah, I know it's really light, but I like it that. Subtle.

I've got a 43% solargard on all windows except windshield. Wanted 50% but the installer didn't carry it. I'll try posting pics up soon. I prefer light too.

I've always had 20% but somehow I would like to try 15%.
What do you guys have?
Pics would be appreciated.
NY tint laws are way too strict, on a car you can legally only tint the back window (There are no transmission restrictions). On SUV's you can tint the back side windows and the rear window. Luckily it is rarely enforced unless you get pulled over for something else.

That being said I tint my side windows 35% and my rear window 20%. I like 3M non metalized tint to avoid any potential interference with GPS etc.

I like the look of 15% but it is difficult to see out of it at night.

Would be grateful.

Thanks!

Haven't been home in daylight hours since I promised a pic! So here's an older picture of my car, taken the day I bought it and drove it home. I think this one shows the tint pretty well. As far as I can tell it's 50% on front side windows and 35% everywhere else.

(Fun fact for those experiencing winter weather right now: the outside air temp in this picture was 108 degrees.)

Nice, thanks! They look really similar between the front and back, but I like the subtle light-tint look a lot as well. Looks really good in my opinion!

Any others with 50% or lighter tint?
