I am not interested in a 2013 LS because I believe Lexus used the picture attached as a model for the grille of the new LS.

i opted for a used 2012 vs the 2013. Mechanically, they are about the same. The 2013 interior is updated (loved the Fsport, hated the Flaxen). The biggest change was the mouse controller for the navigation and some of the entertainment options.

I only test drove the 2013. I couldn't tell any difference. My decision came down to wanting a red 2013 F-sport (which wasn't available) vs a good price on a low mileage 2012.

At some point we ALL have to move on. The only question is when. Those who choose to wait will be looking at a severely restricted field of choices. No V-8s (except supercars), 8-10 gear trannies, crippled driving modes, as well as sundry and varied nanny gizmos. Get 'em while they're hot, folks.

i've driven the 2010 and the 2012, the audio in the 2010 (non ML) sounds better than the premium audio in the 2012. the cars drive the same to me. i bought the 2013 and the premium audio ( in this model year ) is the best by far. interior redone... i like... front and back exterior refresh... i like. IMO the 2013 is less floaty than the previous models, although i am running a staggered set up which allows a little more road feel and traction, slightly firmer suspension feeling over bumps etc. overall i really like the 2013. i guess alot of you won't buy any future LS vehicles because of the grill... the new IS grill will be incorporated on all future models, how far in the future... IDK but all Lexus cars will have that grill or something very close to it. the 2013 LS grill is subtle as opposed to what's coming.

We are looking for a new vehicle for my wife. I have owned Lexus cars for about 16 years.
WE won't be looking at a Lexus due to the grill and the minor makeovers they they say are all new.

I parked next to a 2013 Nebula Grey LS yesterday with my Mom with me. She's really familiar with the LS because my Dad had two (he never had a 460) and she kept his 04 for a while after he passed away, I pointed it out to her and she just loved it, walked all around it checking it out...I was surprised by her reaction actually.

I just don't see how anybody could prefer the 2012 honestly...they just look so plain to me now compared to the 2013.

IMO, the best looking 4LS's in order:
2007-09 LS600hL
2007-09 LS460/L
2013 LS460
2013 LS460 f-sport
2010-12 LS460/L
2010-12 LS600hL
