Lexus is rolling out its own unit under the Lexus Remote Engine Starter Plus (RES +) name. Runs $499 PIO (see below) plus $65/yr. Check out http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home and go to the RES+ button for details. Note this system replaces the previous RES one available through Lexus and is available on 2013 RX now and soon on all other models according to my (somewhat) inside info.
Good luck.

Update: Oops! Seems like it lists at $599 PIO. My dealer was giving me a break on it.

i have a viper 5904 with smartstart with gps feature, glass sensor , window roll up and down, gas door release, basically everthing i can do to it. i love it, except the car shuts down upon opening the door!, so no big deal, the purpose of a remote start is to warm up the car anyway. my unit works flawlessly and i installed it myself.

I have installed a python 5706 to a 2007 Lexus LS460 using a dball in D2D mode. I had the dball flushed with the latest version available on the website. Everything works now from python remote (doors, alarm, trunk opening etc) except the remote start. I had changed the 5706 setting from manual to automatic transmission using the bitwriter and I do not get any error code while attempt to start any longer but i am getting "remote start error on display" The dball light stays off during the remote start attempt. I connected the dball pink wire (ignition input) with the black/gray (ignition status output) and the pink wire from 5706 (H3/1 Ignition 1 input/output).
What am I missing or doing wrong? Sugestions?

I saw the app this weekend and was excited about it but wasnt aware that the initial cost is 499 plus the 65 a month. I may still do it because I would like to cool my car down in the AZ summers before I actually sit in the car BUT in the end when you turn on the car it will take a while to cool and would actually cool faster by opening all the windows first and then starting the car and rolling the windows up again

Sure sounds tempting, btw it's $65.00 per year not per month lucky us :-)

App available on Gplay https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....lexus.resplus
