Thanks guys. That's what I figured but I thought I would get a low battery indicator on my dash. Maybe it has to be really really low for that light to be triggered.
I feel that the battery should be part of the preventative maintenance program. Sure some last a long time but with electronics these days it's not worth chancing it. I would replace the battery every 4 years. Some electronics get really pissed off operating at lower that normal voltage.
Just an update: had the battery tested and it had a bad cell. It was a battery from Lexus and was passed the free replacement period. Prorated it and I got a new one from Lexus for $65 bucks! I'm straight for another few years!
