Hi, I need some expertise and wisdom on this...I have a 2008 LS460 (pearl white) that I wanted to upgrade to the side mirrors that have the blinkers on them that are on the 2010 model. Can anybody tell me if these part #s will work? They are for an IS250, but I think they are the same mirrors as the LS460 side mirrors: 87910-53560-A1 (RH) and 87940-53550-A1 (LH). They IS ones are cheaper than the LS ones, but I remember seeing somewhere previously that these are the exact same mirrors as the LS460 side mirrors. I got these part #s from www.lexuspartsnow.com/

Thanks LT, I did PM him and havent heard back as of yet and yeah I did see that thread and I am 99% sure those will work, but would prefer to get to the comfort zone of 100% ! Thats always a good place to be LOL. I just dont wanna put up that kind of money and find out I was wrong. I need a "Bonafyd" confirmation from a "Bonafyd" source !

You mean this one, these mirrors are exactly those on the 2010 LSs, not the ISs:

 

LS430Blk, I am pretty sure the 2010 IS and 2010 LS are the exact same side mirrors, but because obviously the LS is a more expensive car Lexus charges more for the LS mirrors, so I am just trying to save some $.

 

well, I never heard about this, these mirrors are from my friend's LS, they cost around 2k$ here in my country. I'll do the same when I have a chance.

The mirror on the LS and the IS are the same. I took my buddies IS mirror off to see it it would fit and its a perfect fit. His has the light and mine doesnt. Been looking for the IS mirror ever since because I figured the IS would cost less. Still cant find then though.

 

Looks like the CL price at Sewell for the auto-dimming IS mirrors is $881 for the pair

 

A word of caution.While the IS mirrors may physically fit the ls460,it doesn't mean they are electrically the same.Some models have different features than others ie.memory,etc..,hence their mirrors are wired a bit differently.

 

That's what I'm thinking, too. If they are the same, they cannot have different price.

 

Do you know if the 2010 back mirror cover for the IS and LS are interchangeable? I’m thinking about just replacing the back cover and leave the rest intact.

That seems good but wonder if it comes with the blue LED, I prefer yellow. Anyway to contact that company through email? I couldn't find it.
