I bought that and they designed the mirrors about 3 inches too long. Cost me some money of wasted labor by my guy working on it...

ok...so I'm doing the same for my 07 LS....orginally had them replace with aftermarket outer housing with lights from "niles"? here on CL....paint didn't exactly match as well as clear coat coming off now, so i decided last week to just get an 09-10 side mirror assembly and will try to swap these out for a nice OEM updated look ($1,400/pair !! for those wanting to know price)...I don't think the harness is the same for the differing years so will have to get help....anybody can point me to wiring shematics or whatnot to make this easier??

The 2010 mirrors have 16wire/16 pin connectors. The car harness connectors they plug into are 14 wire/16 pin connectors. The two additional wires in the mirror connector are the wires that control the turn signal lights in the mirror. You have to add two new wires and tap into these wires. Connect one of the new wires to ground and the other into the turn signal circuit.

I asked the idiots at bell Lexus for a quote on the mirrors and they said they were 1600 each installed. Typical crappy Bell Lexus. These were the same idiots who tried to charge me 625 bucks for TPMS

you do not have to modify the existing harness. However, you do have to add 4 new wires (2 for each mirror).

I would not use the mirrors from and IS on a LS....I had a IS convertible--I know the mirrors had the turn signals, puddle lamps, were heated, and were auto dimming but I believe that LS also has the capacity for the mirrors to fold-- i know that feature was not offered on the ISC (in North America anyway).

Umm...ouch!....just re-read your post.....1600 EACH,.....yeah, they're ripping u off on labor....marylandlp gave good advice that I now understand after looking at the connector pins....it shouldn't be difficult at all to add the 2 wires to the harness connectors....I'll post pics of before and after when I finish this mod.

TPMS however shoulda been no more than 100 for 4....I got the parts but local dealer refused/couldn't do it on 22" aftermarket tires...had to replace the original tpms into the new tires to make it work out...

do these 2010 mirros have blind spot monitoring in them? I think it is worth $1600 if they do.

That's a fabulous price. I've been stalking ebay for them with no luck on an OEM 2010 pair. A couple of singles... No pairs - did a national salvage search and found several i could get for 625 each... I really like the front viewable turn signal on the mirrors - but not that much...
