Is there an update of this topic? I found an OE IS 09+ side mirror and I'm thinking of swapping it with my 07's mirror. It's only $110 per side on eBay.
you gotta verify if they fit because for some reason the 08's dont fit....... there have been others that have purchased some and they did not fit the 08..

I been emailing back and fourth with the seller about the fitment and all. He said it " fit, function and look like oem". Still trying to figure out if I can just swap the outer shell, don't know if the bolts are identical . Thinking abt removing the shell and just tap the blinker or install the whole thing and change harness + tap the oem wire ( just a thought don't know what I'm talking abt).
Do you know who have tried to done it and fail? I know one guy brought the oem 09+ putter shell and blinker but cost him 800 for the parts.

I remember that... just cant find any oems for a descent price... I guess if worst cane to worst I can go custom (cut to fit bondo n paint but im really not stressing these, low on the priorities list.
It's been a few year and I haven't seen anyone successful done it so I guess it's a no go huh...
not sure if you want to go this route but I bought some 2010 IS door mirrors and dremeled / grinded my existing LS mirror frames to fit the IS outer cover and then routed wires to the signal lights.
