Default Hit a traffic Cone on highway

So a Semi truck decides to run me off the highway on my way to Los Angeles forcing me to hit 2 orange traffic cones at 40mph to avoid being crushed. Who knew those 3 foot traffic cones could cause that much damage. Along with a saggy bumper, missing bumper plugs, scratches around the front, A plastic trim piece next to my 2010 ls fog lights broke off and I cant seem to locate the part.

I have searched various vendors and I can't seem to identify the part number due to the lack of pictures. IF anyone can help me identify the part number and save me from buying a new bumper, I greatly I appreciate your help!

I will upload some pics

Comp insurance claim. If you say the truck hit the cone and it flew up and hit your car. You're all good, they will cover it.

Worst case scenario, is an insurance claim if they don't sell that individual part. That tiny trim piece cant be anymore than 50 bucks.

You are driving an almost new 2010 Lexus LS460. Why are you concerned with such trivia? Why don't don't you just file an insurance claim.

I've lost track of the number of front and rear Lexus vehicle bumper covers I've gone through in the past 22 years.

Default Same thing happened to me going 80

ripped the wheel well out of my 2021 f sport, cracked the fender into pieces, the grill flew off. $5k of damage. Fortunately it was covered by comprehensive deductible

Depends on his deductible, and insurance is the worst and only product I can think of that penalizes you for using it. If he files a claim, even comp, I'm sure it will go up. Wouldn't it be easier to pay out of pocket? Will those scratches buff out or are they into the paint? Glass claims usually don't affect rates, and some states like FL mandate replacement for chips or cracks, but anything else they like to raise your rates.

I tapped one of those parking lot concrete markers recently. Cracked the bottom of the bumper cover, lower half of the grill, and the styrofoam backing. They (State Farm) considered it a "collision". Replaced the bumper cover, styrofoam and grill, re-calibrate parking sensors - $3600 (and my deductible is $1000)! My insurance went up 30% ($400 a year) for 3 years!
