I understand 13+ LS 460 got re designed control arms. What about other common issues I’ve seen from 07-12?

Coolant leak?
Heat exchanger?
valley plate?

Were those redesigned for 13+?

 

No, its mechanically identical. They may still leak.

 

I have a 2013 LS, pretty rare for any of these things to fail

 

I have a 2013 LS with 32k miles, mine is crusting up in one spot and slowly getting larger but no fluid yet. I will do it some weekend this summer because I can smell antifreeze every time I use but the level isn't going down much...yet.

 

My 14's heat exchanger was just re-sealed at 84k. I have a borescope and will keep an eye on it since it has a 1 year warranty from Lexus.

 

How much was it? And was it dealer or independent shop?
