Default Traction control only stays off before 40mph?!

Is it me or does this happen to everyone's LS460. When I turn off my traction control. It automatically turns back on after 40mph.

press and HOLD on the traction control button for 5 seconds, until bunch of lights light up on the dash. that should take everything off

yeah that's lexus' way of protecting the drivers. if you just press it it will turn off but only until certain speed. if you press and hold for a while it should completely turn off the system

better than 06 gs when it first came out (first of the new generation of lexus), only way to fully turn the system off was to do brake pedal dance or something like that. that's just funny

LOL one time me and my buddy went into a wet parking lot with his modified Talon (long ago...) and did some quite dizzying donuts...basically imagine a normal donut but with the front wheels pulling you faster into a 360.... lets just say the G-forces really get to you
