Great car, great color combo.
In summary, the way I see it is that you'll get:
- A new car with a fresh smell and zero miles on the engine
- A reset on the warranty expiry countdown
- The facelift that was done on the LS460 '10+ (slight changes on the exterior/interior design)
- The cumulative experience Lexus has gained in the past 5 years so you'll skip all those annoying little things that take you back to the dealer every once in a while
What you may have missed:
- None
The release year of the all-new LS is being debated whether it's next year or the year after and nothing is confirmed. So please just enjoy the new car and don't forget to post pictures.
We wouldn't mind a ride so we could get a sense of what 2012 feels like xD

what i was trying to say is, that if the stock market keeps going down the way that it has for the last week or so i'll be getting killed and i'll have to for go a new ls and buy the first (13 yr old)1989 ls instead.it was meant as a joke
WHEW!!! Ok, gotcha..
Also, I thought about this earlier, unless you took immaculate care of the LS you have now, you should get better gas mileage from the new engine if it is broken in properly. Like someone else said earlier, I hope you enjoy the new LS. OBTW, where are the pics??
