Default 2011 vs 2012 model

Guys, im thinking of purchasing a second hand lexus ct 200h.

Ive read a few threads (which has made me more confused).

Do you recommend: 2011 CT 200H (15000km), or a 2012 CT 200H (around 40000km).

The 2012 has had one year of still stand (not driven even 1km for a year), therefore there's a risk of flat spots.

Im just in two minds:
1) 2011 has less miles and better maintained (since every year steady drive of 3000km); where as
2) 2012 model is newer (so one extra year of battery guarantee) but flat spots risk.

What do you guys think?

Are you saying they are the same price? They are both very low miles for that years. I wouldn't worry too much about the tires, that shouldn't be the determining factor.

No actually 2012 is cheaper (14500) vs 2011 (15700).

However the 2011 owners and agents are slightly better I feel.

I would personally go with the lower kilometers. Plus who knows what problems could happen because of it not being used for a year. I feel like that could maybe even effect the battery as it is solely reliant on regeneration. I have no science to back that up though, that is just my thought. I also hear that is not good for an internal combustion set up to be left unused.

Go for whichever one you like better. These cars will not have problems regardless of what's done to them. They are not high performance cars. They have taxi cab power trains which can take a beating under any and all conditions. Get whatever looks best! Favorite color etc.
