I just finished installing my new 12000K D4S, 12000 HID fog light and ultra white LED DRL lights. I'm going to change the DRL LED lights to ultra blue to match the other lights. Next is the Nikki light. Day and night pictures.
And the point of 12000k fog lights is......what exactly? To look like you a Honda Civic street racer with purple halogen bulbs?

You guys are funny.lmao Yes 12000k are more of a purple color than blue. And yes the light output is no where near what it should be, even with the blue. BUT, ultimately it is HIS descision. If he wants them that color, then he can have them that color. He just wants his car to be HIS. Although, I think some states frown on changing lights to the color of response vehicles. Whether it's blue for police or red for Emergency services. Good luck, and if you don't like the output, you can change it back like previously stated. Have fun with it!! Enjoy your whip!!
To each is own. If he likes it, then that is all the really matters. On the other side...something to consider: I suspect that cops may lock on to that color and "check you out" and perhaps stop you. I try to avoid getting stopped as much as I can, especially since I do push it with darker windows on my car..just don't need the extra attention that my tint doesn't already attract.
Check for proper aim on the HID fogs as well. Some of the high Kelvin colors like 8K and up create blinding glare to oncoming drivers. Something to do with how the human eye interacts with certain light wavelengths or something fancy like that.
If you constantly get flashed, you need to jump back inside the fender liner and adjust the beams on the fogs down a little. Looks like a dime or nickel sized silver dial with notches on it..turns the horizontal beam on the fog light up or down accordingly.
