Yeah Bob! beats me why the info in your link isnt a sticky! thank you very much!

what a great site in general. Seems like a certain dealer was misleading me that LS is avail in Opaline Pearl in 07. Guess he didn't know that color started on GS and the LS is 08.

Guess gonna do a lot of reading @ - toyotareference.com

I have a '07 SWB in Verdigris Mica with the comfort plus pkg, 27k miles, I might sell but I'm not in a hurry, PM if interested. I bought it brand new at Lexus of Seattle, have all the services and recalls done. I have the NAV override, Venture Shield and the car was treated with ceramic coating - glossy shine since new, no need to wax it.

Wow!! Good to know. Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I'm on the other side of the country. Don't want to make a country long road trip. Trying to get one on the east coast. Thanks again.

Excuse my ignorance, but can you tell us more about the ceramic coating? Where did you have that done? Cost? Warranty? Is there a website you recommend researching it?

Thanks!!

I did it at a local shop here called metropolitan detail. Those guys have super top notch cars there, and the ceramic coating was the best thing I've done to this car. I have not waxed it ONCE since I got it and the water just beads away and dirt has a really hard time sticking to the car. Not cheap, I think I paid $1,100 back then, and I don't know about the warranty, I have to dig my records - but I didn't have to use it, so that's a good sign! The coating takes 2 days to apply, it's a 3 step proccess with some powerful lights that need to shine on the car for hours. Do a search for metropolitan detail in WA, they might have some stuff about the ceramic coating there. They call it Matrix Micro Coating.

You're welcome. If you change your mind let me know, shipping cars isn't that expensive nowadays

So true on shipping. I shipped my Maxima from missouri to Arizona for a little over $400 5 years ago. Not too bad for covered transport I guess.

But before I do, I have a few questions about the vehicle that I can't find on the internet, or I'm just not too sure about. I would like to get an '09 so I don't have to worry about the Valve Spring Replacement Recall, but an '08 will suffice. Also hoping to find one with the Nav/ML system. I've been looking online, and saw some models with another button next to the PWR/SNOW button in between the front seats. "Ride Height/High", does this button raise the car? What is the purpose? I first thought maybe you could lower the car a bit when you were on the Highway/Interstate to "cut" through the wind. Now I doubt myself and deductive reasoning the more I see the option.
I'm moving up from an '03 Maxima SE 6sp. I'm tired of being "Fast & Furious"lol, and just want to get from point A to B in luxury. I was hoping this car would do all this with "style." I'm also sort of a technology geek and was hoping to find one with if not all, a lot of the bells and whistles, without a lot of miles on the odo.
Thanks in advance,
ICE
Hey Ice,

What's the best lead you've had so far? Any luck with Craigslist, Cars.com, AutoTrader.com, eBay Motors, etc. I would think the Manheim wholesale auctions as a last resort since many times the dealers overpay since it's a bidding frenzy from what I've heard.

Cheers,
James

I don't really trust Craigslist. I've been looking on Autotrader, Cars.com, and CARMAX. I haven't looked at EBAYmotors in a long time. Some are mostly overpriced for what they are so I'm still looking. I've got my eyes on one in SC right now. Just don't know if I want to pull the trigger on it yet. Trying to do some research b4 I jump into a bucket. Thanks for the insight on Manheim. Have a GR8 W/E!!
