Default Carpet floor mats: premium vs regular. Recommendation?

I'm looking at Sewell's carpet floor mats. They offer two different types:
Premium: http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2008/2868.html
Regular: http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2008/2934.html

What would be your pick?

I just noticed that Sewell offers good discounts to CL members (got 22% - 27% on the mats). Sweeeeet.

i believe the premium is thicker, but considering it's something i put in the car, step on when it's rainy, etc... i get normal

Both premium and regular mats came with my car. I've been using the premium mats now for a couple of months since I have my LS. I like the feel and look of the gray premium mats better. Maybe it's because of the deep pile, they seem to stay cleaner for a longer period of time. My regular mats are charcoal and seem to show every grain of dirt.

I still prefer the factory All Weather mats, even for the mild climate here. I have them in the truck too, well, they are actually from the GX470 I traded in but they fit.

I just tried to order a set of either at my local dealership and they told me the part number is on hold. The guy basically said he cant get them right now. I will have to search. Maybe I can order them through sewell

Maybe Toyota/Lexus stopped selling floor mats recovering from all the accelerator recalls. I was waiting for the all weather mats to be re-released, finally got the WeatherTech, MacNeil mats. Very good quality and fit. I stopped using carpet mats on all my cars, just don't like dirty carpet.

I am assuming that if they cant get them for me that the parts will not be available at any dealership. Mine were not bad but I just wanted a new set with the new car. I will ask my service rep at the other Lexus dealership I go to on Monday when I take BIGGIE (aka my LS460) in for routine service and a brake job on monday

See my thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...mium-mats.html for more on unobtainable mats. Be persistent and you will get them.
