Has anyone else have this messege pop up on them? Its happened the last couple of days on and off. I've read info in some of the other forums but they all say to check the disk and from my understanding, the LS has an HD disk. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Out of warranty....error had turned into blank display (BT, Nav and Rear Camera) not working.
I'd have to look thru my paperwork and see what they changed out but I dont think it was the HD since I took it in with music and all the music was there when I got it back. Unless they transfered everything over. But from what I've heard about the ML system, its a pretty penny for the set up.
update...after replacing battrey when I turned the car on I got a message on the screen "do not power off the car, Initalizing hdd" after 2 minutes lexus logo came on the screen and everything started working like before. Now BT and Rear Camera are working fine. Still getting error for the Nav.
305BUSA could you go thru your paperwork, wondering if they fixed the existing HDD or replaced.

I just have my 2007 LS HDD replaced, all the musics are gone. I asked the manager and they said there is no way to transfer the music. 305Busa can you confirm if your music are copied over? Thanks.
confirmed. All of my music was still there when I got it back so thats why I was doubting that they replaced the HDD but after speaking to the SA, thats what was changed. The change of the HDD also came with a GPS update. So yes, there's someway to do so.

Thanks, I will contact the dealer to see if they can copy the HDD music.
Well, for LS460 owner that have an ML system that can record CD.
According to my dealer and 1-800 lexus, "they have no procedure to copy the old music over to a new HDD".
It's just a pain to record all the CD again over all this years and I only record selected tracks. I don't know what else I can do? I got email coming from Lexus asking if I am 100% satisfy with their services? I know there are legal or technical issue on coping music, but I am just not satisfy? Any suggestions, Thanks.
Can't post any pics since I'm on the phone now but here's way my receipt says. Maybe another member can decode it.

As I said in the pm, my SA doesn't know much about cars but she's great with service. If they told her they changed the hdd, then that'd what she'll repeat without knowing otherwise.
