Default Nifty passenger pouch

I thought I'd share this idea of a passenger seat pouch:

I'm always keeping things (a book, CD cases, etc.) on the passenger seat.

Invariably they slide around or have to be moved when I have a passenger.

The glove box is too inconvenient (it's a wide car!).

So I had a passenger pouch crafted at my local canvas/sailing shop.

It uses 3 ultra strong ceramic magnets to mount the pouch and 2 ceramic magnets to keep the pouch closed.

It's completely out of the way and blends in pretty well with the interior.

Front of pouch

Back of pouch

Pouch mounted

I like it! That being said, some folks on this thread will accuse you of making your ride "a 90 year old grandpa car" as they did to me with my lambskin seat cover.

Yeah, I agree. I was expecting to open up the pictures and see a girl in a bikini holding your CDs and latte... but your idea is probably cheaper.

Neat idea!!!

Some cars have a string pouch on the front passenger footwell area, but your creation is easier to access for the driver.

No, I'm a software developer, and that's a hardware project!

Just bring the images to your local canvas/sail shop and ask them to make one for you.

Mine charged me $50.
