While test-driving a 2010 LS 460, I plugged my iPhone into the USB port to listen to some music and see how the system sounded. I noticed a streaming glitch (sounds like a slight hiccup) every 5-10 seconds in the audio being played off my iPhone. This glitch never happens when I listen to the iPhone through headphones...only when it's connected to the car through the USB port. Is anyone else noticing this when their iPod or iPhone is connected to the car through the USB port? I'm wondering if it would be different had I connected say, an iPod Nano to the car instead of the iPhone. Has anyone else experiencied this problem?
i have mine hooked via the usb connection and have had no glitches. - i also tried an ipod classic and had no problem.
I bought an iphone cup holder "thing" and extended a short cable to it from the console to my iphone. I like being able to see my iphone so i can check my email and other things in the iphone on the go. Unfortunately i was not able to bluetooth connect both the phone part and the music part to the lexus head unit at the same time. Lexus says you can't do it anyway. But, using the short usb cable is fine.
