I took the LS in for service and complained about the driver's seat being uncomfortable and they replaced the cushions in both front seats if anyone is having the same issue. There is a TSB out on it.

How long did it take for them to change the cushions?
GCAMM77, I would say it took about 1/2. I had the car in for an oil change, amp replacement and nitrogen and they kept it 2 days. The excuse was they didn't want to tear the leather. But really what happened was they were waiting on a lead tech to do it and was working on other cars.

I have always been really unhappy with the feel of my seats as well. I like my GS400 and GS430 seats a lot, firm and supportive but the 460 seats feel like there isn't adequate cushioning and support ,at least to my liking. I'm going to contact the local Dealers right away to check this out.
I contacted the Dealer and indeed, there is a TSB for Seat Cushion Replacement, and it does effect my car. I have an 07 SWB. Don't have the TSB# yet or know all the applicable years, but for all of you that also feel/felt that the seats were rather uncomfortable and unsupportive for a car of this caliber, take heart. My Dealer has ordered the parts (Cushions) and apparently it has to go out to a local Vendor/Upholsterer to do the work. They advise that it is supposedly a 1 day job. ELSMOOTH: Can you advise on the difference you have observed/felt since the repalcement?
Yes, the dealers are now offering Nitrogen in the tires. It is suppose to hold air better.
If you wish to take my advice, don't waste your time and some money on Nitorgen. It is worse than regular air. It is extremely temperature sensitive. I have had to bring the car back to the dealer each spring and each fall (owned my 2008 LS 460L since Dec., 2007) several times to increase the air pressure in the fall and reduce it in the spring with this Nitrogen junk. This is definitely a rip-off by the dealers.
Hey, I've already got nitrogen in my tires, well about 78% of it is nitrogen and it was free. No dealer markup. How can pure nitrogen be much different?
TJSO9, I got the ride back today and I must say I am very pleased. Yes, they actually replaced the cushion and leather covers. So basically it is a brand new seat and feels much better. Especially for a car that cost over $60k.
