Heating Up Time

How do you think the LS 460 heats up compared to previous V8s you've had in the past? My previous car (CLK 500) heated up a little faster.

The seat warmers heat up very fast but I am talking about the car itself and the ability to blow out hot air in the car.

I think it heats up pretty fast and have been pretty satisfied in this category. Certainly faster than my Land Rover.

I only wish it had remote start!

Mine heats up fine... This is my 5th Lexus, and It's no different from the others...

lexus1, I hear you on the remote start. My last 2 cars ('05 STS, '07 Denali) both had this feature and I loved it.

I think the warm up time for the LS is fine. I do notice that if you manually set the climate control system, you can get warm air blowing faster than if you leave it on auto.

My other vehicle is a Ford F-150 - - it takes forever to warm up! I'm sure this has to do with the tow package and the thermostat that is installed to keep the motor running cool under heavy loads.
