Im sure more people will start importing that car.

If u havnt already, i suggest u go test drive the LS460, its more of the same but better

Have you checked the import/export laws? You may not be able to import one because it doesn't meet specific UAE standards.

He's right, the 600hL drives exactly like a 460L, except for the CVT transmission which makes it smoother on acceleration.

I doubt you'll need the AWD in United Arab Emirates unless you get stuck in some sand!

To compare apples to apples, test drive a 460L instead of a 460 if you can. The extra length makes a bit of a difference in handling.

Welcome to the forum, just to consider regarding imported LS sedans, the specs are different in key areas, and there have been some threads on here regarding radio tuners, other factory settings which are meant for the US market cars and do not work for other regions.

Im not 100% familiar with import laws of the UAE, but imported cars are a dime a dozen, many non-specific dealers do it, and as i stated, one dealer has already imported a 600L. Sides the raido wouldnt be his biggest problem, the radiator as well as other key location specific features would have to been changed in order to cope with the blistering heat.

The 4wheel drive isnt necisserary as it doesnt rain (1nce a year) or snow, and he wouldnt be offroading his LS, but having a 600 would be unique as hell, its faster than the 460, plus the front lights are sick,. so i completely understand why he wants one. THE LS460 is EVERYWHERE in the UAE. You def wont ever see an LS600h.

Its all about Baller Status son! lol

btw i guess no one answered ur questions
so here is my take on the car (havnt driven an LS600h) but i can deduce some answers from the 460

so sound cancelation is supposed to be better than BMW or BENZ (both try and appeal to luxury and sport buyers. Lexus is pure luxuy and refinement)

For highway driving stability is excellent. Pls test drive a 460 and ull know what im talking about

BUT If ur only 20 years old, please dont buy it. there are soo many cooler cars that u can get!!!! The LS is to more suited for people that want to be driven around in. if thats ur case, go for it, but If ur gonna be doing the driving, i recommmend looking elsewhere

I thought about buying one but

How do you intend to maintain it if the local dealer does not support it in Dubai?

Not to be insulting but I am sick of people stating this. I have a Harley, a Boxster and a LS460. I love to drive (ride) each one for different reasons. I would NOT want to be driven in my LS. It's as slick as goose sh%t and I want to FEEL this as I drive it. (not to say I know how slick goose sh@t is). Yes, it would be a car to be driven around in if that is what you want. It is also a blast to drive yourself!

haha yes i do realise the LS is a nice car to drive, my statement rather was refering to the OP young age. since he may/or may not be 20 years old, he can find a more fun inducing car to drive at his age. once he turns 30,40 whatever then get the LS. until then go with an M5, Clk63 blackseries, m3. ur young once.
